For many years, I’ve known that some of my best thinking actually happens in the shower. Ideas come to me because the volume of the distraction of the external world is turned down low.
Now many other times during the day and key points of course like sitting by a river or climbing a mountain give me access to high level thoughts.
I think it is very important for us to consider what kind of routinely active way we can use to discover, listen in to, and find our very best thinking.
Remember your thinking comes not only from your intellect, but from your intuition. There is a GPS, God Positioning System, that is both internal to you, external to you, and knows exactly your next step, knows exactly what would bring you the most joy, the most aliveness, the most peace; but you and I have to be accessible to that, available to that, and willing to receive that.
One of the best clues is to know the key practice that opens the door to our own best thinking. So today, just listen in, notice your day, but pay attention to your own best thinking.
It’s God’s voice and it’s got your name on it.
By Your Side,
Mary

Take time to really take a deep inhale, a deep breath of life. When we exhale we exhale the business. We exhale the concern. We exhale any tension.
So we take a deep breath of life. Another word for that is “aloha”; the holy breath that moves in and out of us. It brings in the new life and releases that which is already been lived and is ready to be let go of.
My friends, “the aloha” is the intersection, the balance between the head and the heart, the intersection where perfect balance exists. Respect the holy breath that moves in and out of us in this very moment. Breath is life itself.
Aloha,
Mary

What is on your “to be” list?
The best time to set our intentions for our “to be” list is when we’re quiet. What would I really like to be? What would I like to bring? What would I like to contribute?
Guess what? Your day can begin right now. For the rest of this day, what would you like to be? Not just what you want to do but instead what do you want to be? This is your moment; let it be a shining one. It’s your day.
To Your Highest Beingness,
Mary

Each moment is a new beginning. This is a day of new beginning and commencement. This moment can really be the turning point of our entire lives.
Right now, just imagine that all people in the universe that love you are standing and cheering for you this day. They are cheering for you having the commencement of the new beginning of all you’ve chosen to be. This moment can really be the turning point of your entire life.
This moment we commence being more of who we truly are. This moment, this day, we commence being a deeper and stronger and more powerful expression of the love whose name we carry.
This moment, this day, can be a commencement of what really matters. This day can be a commencement of _________ and you get to fill in the blank.
A commencement of . . . and then you get to choose because God gave you the ability and the power to choose. We are choosing whether consciously or unconsciously.
This day we commence with the new choices that guide our lives. We commence with the appreciation that under rides all that we do. We commence with recognition. We say “Thank you God for every moment which is always a new beginning.”
To each new beginning,
Mary

Richard Bach wrote a wonderful book called Illusions. It’s an allegory and in that book he tells the story of a handbook for the awakening soul; a person who is trying to awaken to the meaning and purpose of life.
There are several messages in the book but one stands out for me and I have always remembered it.
Richard writes this line: Argue for your limitations and sure enough they are yours.
Argue for your limitations and they are yours. If you think about what’s wrong and think about what’s missing that is your truth. Think about where you have a shortcoming and sure enough that is what gets to show up.
So when you find yourself being self-critical today just argue for the fact that God is with you. There’s a power and a presence that can help you if you let it. No more arguing for our limitations. Instead we are arguing for the power of God at work in our lives.
Many Blessings,
Mary

Jesus said, “Peace be still; I am with you.”
Right now let’s just join our own feelings of recognizing that right here, right now, we can be filled with peace knowing we are companioned.
Feel your body relax.
I am the I am that guides this universe. I am with you.
Just feel your forehead relax and your shoulders let go. You don’t have to carry the weight of anything today. Remember He says, I am with you; peace be still. I am with you.
Let us walk this day in a peace that passes all understanding. Let’s walk in a peace that lifts us up, in a peace that reminds us we’re never alone. We are always companioned. We are always guided. We can trust this. We can let go. We can let God.
Peace be still; I am with you.
With peace,
Mary

For many years a good friend of mine said, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” What he is saying is that when you’re looking at your problems, you see more problems. When you’re looking with gratitude, you begin to see solutions and so much more to be grateful for.
Today, we get to choose the way we look at things. What we’ll find, upon looking, is the things we’re looking at really do change.
Happy Holidays,
Mary

Joseph and Mary traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem, where the birth of the Christ occurred. That is a symbolic journey for you and for me.
The journey south from Nazareth to Bethlehem is the journey from the head to the heart. It is a pilgrimage of finding the Holy Self. So I encourage you to consider taking a journey from the head to the heart and bring your focus of attention; your awareness right to your heart and see how well you can stay focused there today.
From the heart,
Mary

Einstein said, “There are only two ways to approach life. One as if nothing is a miracle, and two, as if everything is a miracle.”
There is no distinguishing and no decision. It is either all a miracle of none of it is a miracle.
Pause today and make your decision; how will this day be for you?
In the Bible it says, “Choose this day whom you will serve.”
For the idea that everything is a miracle or nothing is a miracle–let’s choose, everything.
Enjoying Miracles Today,
Mary
